  1. I will try to implement the exhale strategy into my puppy’s everyday life! But oh lord it gets hard.. he’s REALLY hyper, and will bark and bite until he’s played with. It’s even worse that we have an 11 year old pug that he (8 month old labradoodle) loves to torment and shake his toys in her (very sensitive) face. I don’t like yelling and i HATE hitting or being rough, but i just feel lost. I do not know how to fix it, we’ve taken him to training classes, i take him on walks and play fetch with him every day, but he’s still just. such a MENACE. I love him so dearly, i really do, but sometimes i just feel like it’s hopeless, like this is just how he is and there’s nothing i can do. Keep in mind that I’m only thirteen, this dog is stressing me out so badly, which sucks because i want to keep him, i want to spend every waking moment i have with my dogs.. But it feels impossible. I’m hoping that this will help with his behavior, but i really don’t think there’s much for me to do other than just.. get better at raising animals, i guess. He’s just a puppy, surely it gets better?

    1. Zoie, since you are a young teen, I’d like to work with you and your parents about your puppy. Yes, puppy’s have lots of energy and need training. Ideally both you and your puppy and parents go to puppy/dog training together. There is NO reason to hit or get rough with a puppy. Your parents can contact through my website or give me a call.
