Dog Keeps Jumping the Fence and Doesn’t Return

Denise Anderman of Golden Valley, Minnesota told me how Raven, her dog Dog Keeps Jumping the Fence and Doesn’t Return. He responded well to an animal communication session. Here is her story:

Raven

Raven is my very social lab mix who likes to jump my 4-foot chain link fence so he can visit the neighbor’s dog.  He has recently started jumping my fence to visit the rest of my neighborhood as well.  Since he was found as a stray and is a black dog (not so easy to see in the dark), I’ve been very concerned about his safety and have struggled to keep him in the yard if he is not on the leash.

I asked my good friend, Elaine Garley if she could use her animal communication skills to help him stay safe and not leave the fenced in yards. I was very concerned about this inappropriate dog behavior.  I asked her to be very stern with him and explain to him that he might die if he continued to leave the yard.  Elaine agreed to talk to him later in the day and I left to run some errands.

As soon as I walked in the door, I noticed something was up with Raven.  He seemed very happy to see me but also submissive, a bit anxious and almost apologetic.  I figured I was going to find something had been chewed on or there had been a house breaking accident.  Nope, nothing was amiss.

What I did find was that Elaine had spoken with him while I was gone. She told him that he must stay in his yard or the neighbor’s yard and must never go into the street or leave the two yards. Also that he must come home as soon as I call him the first time. The change was noticeable as soon as he went outside.  While he still jumped my fence to go next door, he immediately came back as soon as I called him. In the past, he would become “deaf” when I called him, coming back on his own sweet time.  It’s been a few days and while he continues to visit the neighbor dog (which we agreed he could do), he has not left the fenced in yards, and is still coming back more quickly than before.  I do think Raven heard Elaine!!

Thanks,

Denise Anderman
