Traveling by Motorcycle With A Dog

Are you traveling by motorcycle with a dog? As John and I enjoyed our extensive motorcycle vacation with friends, I started missing Hobbes. He would love to ride with us, but there is no room on the motorcycle. He is just too big to sit in my lap! So Hobbes and I use animal communication to stay in touch. Hobbes said he was very happy at our friends’ house and enjoyed his morning naps in his crate. He was content.

We pulled into our motel in Cody, WY and started unpacking the bike. Later in the evening another motorcycle was in the parking lot. It had a trailer and a small dog crate on top of the trailer. I wondered if the dog traveled in crate.

The next morning I met a wonderful couple and their miniature poodle. The dog is 10 years old and started riding on the motorcycle when he was 6 months old. He sits very still on the passenger’s lap in all types of weather. If it rains or is cold, he snuggles in a plush fleece blanket. Please don’t tell Hobbes about another dog who gets to go motorcycling!

“Elaine has been very helpful and supportive since my adoption of a very anxious dog. Her t-touch sessions and ongoing communication has helped us both. She has great suggestions and is very responsive to my frantic calls.” – Lynnea Forness, Minneapolis, MN
