I often hear people say, “I wish I knew how my pet feels, because it would make life easier. Then I’d know what to do!”
As an animal communicator, I hear exactly what pets say and feel their emotions and pain. Pet parents are relieved when they read their pet’s transcript. And yes, I hear “how my pet feels.”
Wondering what a pet communication looks and sounds like? Recently, I had three interesting conversations.
Luna Stalls on Walks
Kerrie was genuinely concerned about Luna, a 11 year old Westie. Luna didn’t want to go on walks. Was she in pain? What was going on? I wish I knew how my pet feels.
When I talked to Luna I asked her, “I understand you aren’t up to your noon walk. Kerrie said you’ll go a block or so and want to head home. What’s going on?”
Luna replied, “It’s to F*#%ing hot outside. I don’t want to walk at noon in the heat. I’d rather walk in the early morning or later in the day when it cools down. I’ll go outside to pee if I need it. Otherwise I want to be in the air conditioning.”
She continued, “Tell the humidity to go away and the heat too. Then I’ll walk at noon again.”
I replied, “Kerrie doesn’t have that power!”
Now Kerrie doesn’t worry if Luna stall on walks. Kerrie makes it fun by telling Luna, “Its too F*#%ing hot,” and they head back home.
Luna is much happier. Kerrie is “more chilled about walks” and adjusts walks as needed. Kerrie read “how my pet feels” and adjusted their walks.
Explaining Radiation Treatment to Lexi Bear
Jenny was very worried about Lexi Bear, a 10-year old cat, having radiation treatment for her thyroid. How does my pet feel?
When I talked with Lexi Bear, I explained she would spend 4 days at the vet’s clinic.
I told Lexie, “They will give you something that is radioactive meaning people will be wearing heavy garments around you for 4 days. After 4 days, you’ll go home to Jenny. She may limit her time with you because of her own safety.”
Lexie responded, “I can handle 4 days in a strange place and maybe longer because I’ll feel better. I want to do it. Let’s do it soon. I’m tired of being a bag of bones. I need some fat on this body so my girlish figure comes back (haha!)”
When Lexie came home, she was very upset. Jenny asked me to talk with Lexie again.
As soon as I said hello, Lexie said, “What the Hell is going on?… Now I’m home and people, including Jenny, are running away from me.”
When I reminded Lexie that Jenny needed to stay away for her own safety, Lexie calmed down.
Lexie said, “Yes, I understand. Now I remember you told me all this before. I had decided to ignore it. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to upset Jenny.”
Immediately after we finished talking, Lexie returned to her calm, normal self.
Telling Manny About Moving to New Barn
Manny, a 21-year old Percheron horse was moving to new boarding facility. Guy and Kate, his people, were concerned how he’d feel about the move. They wondered how my horse feel.
When I explained to Manny he was moving in 4 days, he said, “Yea, I’m so excited! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I prayed I’d go to a new place. Tell me about it.”
I explained he was going to a private farm “with 2 other horses and a mini donkey from your barn. You’ll be able to go in and out whenever you want. Also there is much less mud!”
I could feel Manny’s excitement as he said, “Hallelujah! I’m so excited. Thank you!”
Guy and Kate were so excited. They thought they found the perfect farm for him.
About a week after Manny’s move, I talked to him again.
Manny said, “I’m doing GREAT! This is the best place ever. I really like it. Everyone is so friendly and so are the horses. The sun seems always to shine even if it is a cloudy day.
The energy is so much better here. My life can’t get better unless Guy and Kate move in the stall with me – haha. I’m so happy here. This is the best place ever. Thank you Guy and Kate.”
I could feel Manny smiling!
Kate and Guy were relieved and thrilled Manny likes his new farm.
