Hobbes, my wheaten terrier, had surgery to remove two cysts and have his teeth cleaned at Lake Harriet Veterinary. During our initial visit, Dr. Cathy Sinning and I talked about my Tellington TTouch® and Healing Touch for Animals® (HTA) practice. Dr. Cathy said I could be with Hobbes once he was in recovery. The entire experience was amazing. Here’s how my dog recovers quickly from anesthesia…
After I dropped off Hobbes for surgery, the clinic called me when he was prepared for surgery and again 10 minutes before the end of surgery. The timing was perfect! I walked in just as the vet tech removed his intubation (breathing) tube. After setting my intention for Hobbes highest good, I started the Healing Touch for Animals® session by checking his hara line and chakras. His hara line was intact and his chakras very small. Hobbes’ tongue was out as far as possible. He was lying on a bed with his back to me. The vet tech was observing him and his eyes. His eyes were bouncing sideways as I started to clear his energy system. In less than five minutes, his eyes were still and trying to focus on the vet tech. She commented how quickly his eyes tried to focus. His energy field expanded. I checked his chakras again and they were larger and moving faster. As I continued with the HTA, Hobbes started coming around. He was still and slowly responding to me. His tongue was slowly pulling back into his mouth to a normal position.
Dr. Megan Schommer can in to check on Hobbes and told me about the surgery. She pulled a front incisor because it was cracked and had decay. He has the” Lauren Hutton” look now with a gap in his top teeth. Dr. Megan was impressed how quickly he was recovering from the anesthesia. A little while later, Dr. Megan introduced a first year veterinarian student who was observing for the day to me. I explained what I was doing. Then I checked his chakras again and they were wide open.
After an hour, the vet tech asked Hobbes if he could stand. He got up easily without stumbling. We walked out of the vet’s office (after paying the bill) an hour and 15 minutes from the time I walked in! Hobbes jumped into my SUV!
Several days later when Dr. Megan called with his cyst results (all benign), I asked her about recovery time from anesthesia. She said often dogs are still wobbly after two hours and Hobbes recovered very quickly.
Once again Healing Touch for Animals® amazed me.
