Gold Finch in Elaine’s Hands
Here’s the amazing story of how a Wild Gold Finch Bird was Helped with TTouch®. On a Saturday morning, I was leaving the house and saw a gold finch on the sidewalk by the porch. The gold finch probably hit the windows as it flew to the bird feeder. It let me pick it up. The bird was wobbly and couldn’t stand. It did move its wings. It was leaning to one side but didn’t seem to be injured.
I started doing tiny Tellington TTouch® circles with one finger on its entire back, wings, and head for about five minutes. It even let me remove some loose feathers by its beak. My hands were getting cold because it was 20 degrees outside. I put the gold finch on the woodpile about 4 feet off the ground. I told the gold finch it was safe and I would be back in an hour.
When I returned, the bird was still on the woodpile. I didn’t expect it to stay but it must have listened to me! The finch let me pick it up. Now it could grip my finger with both claws and was standing straight. It immediately flew but went to the ground. I picked it up again and it flew to the tree. I turned my back and it flew away. TTouch® and energy work amaze me daily!
